Many Travelers and Tourists tend to double pack the unnecessary things when traveling, as they pay no or less attention to the most essential ones. Before you get into that plane, train, bus, ship, or anything that might serve as your means of transportation to that destination, it is important you don't forget these 9 things, as may serve great unexpected use to you.

9. RAIN SLICKER
A rain slicker is also known as Rain Gear, which is usually called Rain Coat or Rain Jacket.
For many, I know this is usually not something that is on the top list, while packing. But remember that if you get caught in the rain, especially when you are beginning to enjoy the adventure, it means you might have to cut that experience short. So, it is a good idea to make most out of your time by carrying around some rain protection. There are weightless portable rain slickers, easy to pack and move around with, suitable for Travelers and Tourists also. Ladies, you won't like your hair to get wet.

8. SKINCARE PRODUCTS
The way people react to new environment is different, and it may take a while before they can adapt. Each new place you visit have it own climatic or environmental factors. So, for people with a sensitive skin, having done your findings about the place, remember to pack the appropriate kinds of skin care products that will protect your skin.

7. HEAD PHONES
A friend told me he usually feels bored and exhausted in public transports, especially if it a long journey. I gave him an honest reply, by saying he is responsible for it. How?
The truth is, even when lots of gist and talk have been done, somehow you will later feel exhausted or bored. But the only way to relieve you from those feelings is by listening to some nice music. Some will agree with me that, listening to cool music at times, takes you to the realm of your destination even before getting there. Actually, it has work for some of us. You can also try it. Bring along your head phone to ridicule boredom.

6. PAIN RELIEVER
When you are in a new place, especially an environment you haven't explore, it better to be safe by bringing along your drug(s). It may be difficult to get any first aid supplies so fast, just  in case you get a random headache, stomachache or any other kind of body ache, it is advisable to carry around a pain reliever before you Travel . Usually, we do encourage our travelers and tourists to check their health before moving. Such health reports are really necessary. Remember, your health is very much important.

5. NOVELS
Whenever, Dr. Rosemary is traveling, she never seems to forget to bring along her usual “two magazines and two newspapers” we know her for that.
As you wait patiently at the airport waiting room, bus garage, or train station you can get yourself a little busy. Just like the work your head phones do, books, especially novels are usually something that can be enjoyed while lounging on vacation and relaxing. One great thing about novels is that they can be read over and over again and still teach us something a little different each time we pick to read.

4. COMFORTABLE UNSEASONABLE CLOTHES/OUTFIT FOR SPECIAL EVENTS
Although, it was our first visit to Paris and we are not fully aware of some events expected of us to attend. So we forget to pick one or two party wears. Yes, we thought our mission there was strictly business. The red carpet came like an impromptu at Le Meurice Hotel. It really pissed me off, especially, because I never planned to spend on any wears there. It was like a waste of money.
See, if you don’t want to spend on things you don’t budget for, I will advise you to pack enough outfits for the duration of the stay; and a few extra ones just in case something comes up.
One of the extra outfits you should pack when traveling is the unseasonable ones.
Dear, you can’t cheat nature as it can be unpredictable at times. The weather can be funny, so it best to prepare for both the hot and cold. Also, a special occasion might arise, you can never tell a dinner party or red carpet might just come up and you are invited. Trust me; you don’t want to make the same mistake I did.

3. ATM/CASH/ID CARD
While is good idea to travel with some amount of cash, it is also good not to forget your ATM card. You might need money urgently either to do or buy something. Good, almost all stores now accept debt and credit cards around the world.  Your ID card is very important, it represents You, in fact it is You. No matter where you go, always have a means of identity with you. It will keep you safe and helps to avoid any form of embarrassment too. Imagine what would have happened if I had also forgotten my ATM, that saved me my job, which was part of my duties there.

2. PHONE CHARGER / POWER BANK
This is very important. While phones are definitely a good item to travel with, so will it be useless when the battery runs down. How will those moments be memorable and how will you proof your traveling experience to some people. Nick and Val Wheatley (2018) describes the best power and portable chargers that is suitable for Travelers: https://wanderingwheatley.com/best-power-banks-external-batteries-for-world-travelers/
Apart from this, these very essential tools will help you to keep in touch with those you left behind.

1. CAMERA
This is another visual communication you will need when traveling. However, do not compare a camera with your phone. To save more battery on your phone, camera is needed.  I know my photographer friend will be so excited at this. Oh yes, we both can’t do without this.
The human mind tends to comprehend images better and pictures will help to speak thousand words, we never imagine.
Whenever we travel to a new place for business, pleasure, vacation, any reason at all, or go for just sightseeing tours, we never forget to capture those moments. Those Interesting and lovely sights, such as beaches, mountains, buildings, foods, animals, tourist centres, are all memories we would like to remember.

However, people have different response to this. I could still remember a colleague who said he never forget his "Map". He further states: "it is most essential to me while Traveling, it is the only guard partner I should never forget."
Is such response same as yours?  OR You have a different one?
