"Citizenship is the state of being a member of a particular country and having legal rights; carrying out the duties and responsibilities of  member of a particular society (Cambridge University Press 2020)." Ways Citizenship is obtained are: through Birth, Descent  or Acquisition (from parents or grandparents), Marriage, Treaty, Naturalization or Derivation.
So, in today's travel gist, we are going to take a closer look at 5 countries where getting citizenship is Easy:

5. ARGENTINA

Argentina is one of the easiest nations to obtain citizenship. All you need to do is to live in this country for 2 years, and be over 18 years  old.  A financier visa applies to those who wish to live in Argentina and can prove having a minimum income of about $2,000 (USD) per month. This can be from amenities, dividends, investments, a business, or even a settlement. Just provide documentation to prove this income, and its source, and make sure it goes into an Argentinian bank account, and you can apply for this visa.

4. GREECE

Greece offers a Golden Visa and it's one of the most popular programmes granting residency in this country. It is possible for a foreigner to obtain citizenship in Greece, there's a very simple alternative, that get you permanent residence there.  And for very good reason, the qualification requirements are some of the most attractive in the world for foreign investors, A $200,000 investment in one or more properties is enough to get you permanent residency.
There are beautiful homes in many Greek islands that you can also buy.

3.  SINGAPORE

Here is one of my crush countries *winks*. Singapore is one of the richest countries in the world, filled with high-end luxe pieces.
Did you remember this lovely movie; "Crazy Rich Asians? directed by Jon M. Chu, the film adaptation of Kevin Kwan's bestseller romantic comedy. It was filmed in this culturally rich country of Singapore. Although, some other countries also featured in it.
After many had seen the movie, the Tourism to Singapore is said to have increased. The movie reveals numerous attractions such as the Marina Bay Sands, Raffles Hotel and several others.  Singapore offers a simple path to citizenship. But first, you need to obtain permanent residency by establishing a business in Singapore, getting a job there or by marrying a Singaporean. After you have lived in Singapore for 2 years, you can then apply for citizenship.
However, this beautiful country does not allow dual citizenship. So, you are going to have to renounce your existing citizenship, in order to get Singaporean citizenship.

2.  IRELAND

You have not lived until you have spent time with Irish people. You can apply to become a naturalized citizen of Ireland after living there permanently for 1 year continuously plus 4 years cumulative residency in the following 8 years.
But it does not stop there. You might be able to get citizenship simply by providing your Irish ancestry.  Also, Ireland allows dual citizenship.

1. CANADA

Last year, I received  several mails about Canada looking for skilled immigrants.
Seconded to one of my crush countries, Canada has been and still one of the most beautiful places in the world and they have  a very easy path to citizenship.
Unless you already have a job offer, you will simply need proof of other income to obtain residency. Example: As a single person, you will need some amount as proof of funds to emigrate as a skilled immigrant. After you become a permanent resident and you can then apply for citizenship after 4 years.
Guess what? Canada allows dual citizenship, and you can also get citizenship if you marry a Canadian.

So guys, which of these countries above will you love to obtain her Citizenship?
