1. The first European One Storey Building, Badagry, Lagos
In the year 1845, the first European one storey building was built by the Rev. Henry Townsend of the Anglican Church Mission Society located in CMS. What a an old The old and famous white building it is.


2. Christ Church Cathedral, CMS Lagos
It is popularly known as the The Cathedral Church of Christ Marina. An Anglican church located in Lagos Island. It foundation stone is said to be the first cathedral church building that was laid on 29 March 1867 and it was established in the year 1869. One of the oldest Anglican and beautiful cathedral in the church of Nigeria.


3. Lagos Colonial Secretariat, Lagos.
This old secretariat was established in 1895. It was built in the English architectural style along with a two-twin tower which serves as a guard-stand for security. It is the most imposing colonial building in the state.



4. Mapo Hall, Ibadan 
Mapo Hall was commissioned during the colonial era by Captain Ross in 1929. It is one among the oldest buildings in Nigeria, built in the year 1929 and has witnessed 87 years of Nigerian history from its starting point. 
Mapo Hill, the site of the hall, is the highest point in the city of Ibadan. Also the oldest part of Ibadan city and a high density area occupied mainly by the indigenes of the town.


5. Kings College, Lagos
Kings College was in founded on 20th September 1909 by the British colonial management in Lagos State. The house was built at the cost of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) and is among the oldest buildings in Nigeria.



6. Jaekel House, Ebute-Meta, Lagos
It is a 2 storey colonial mansion in Ebute metta, Lagos, Nigeria, located inside the Ebute- Metta premises of Nigeria Railway Corporation. Jeakel House is a colonial mansion that was restored. It now serves as a railway museum and photo gallery of NRC Colonial time.


7. Kajuru Castle, Kaduna
A luxury villa it is, built between the year 1981 and 1989, at Kjuru village in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Kajuru Castle is located at 45km from Kaduna on a mountaintop in the village. It was built by a German Expatriate in the year 1978. 

 8. St George Hall, Lagos          
It houses St George Lodge 3065 of the global Freemason Order. It is one of the oldest houses in Lagos, built in 1907 and located on Broad Street. Over the years, some of the most famous names in Nigeria's history have frequent visitors to this building.


9.  Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ebute-Meta, Lagos
The Holy Trinity Church is located in Ebute Mata, Lagos Island and is one of the oldest churches in the state. The church was first established as a missionary station on 10th January 1852. It was built by the early Anglican Missionaries and newly-converted local members.

10. Oba of Benin Royal Palace, Benin
The Oba of Benin Royal Palace is located at the city of Benin, which was built by Oba Ewedo in 1255AD - 1280AD, as the symbol of the mighty Benin Empire for 6 centuries. It is difficult to get a picture of this building, as visitors are forbidden from taking pictures.
