"Christmas is forever, not for just one day. For loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away" ~Norman Wesley Brooks.

By this time, Friday, the Christmas mood would fully be activated as we exchange pleasantries, gifts, spread laughter and joy.

However, with the way things were this year, the Christmas2020 may not look as rosy or exactly the same as it usually does, but you can still find some new exotic and creative ways to celebrate with some special Christmas tips below:

Do your shopping early: If you have any wears or materials or food stuffs that can wait till Christmas day, you can get them early. You can even get your goods deliver to you at your doorsteps through online shopping.

Decor to display in the yard/inside your sitting room: Christmas lights , wrapping them around your trimmed trees or in your sitting room.

Spread some Joy

*Mail a Gift to a loved one: If you're not seeing certain loved ones this year due to safety concerns, make sure you send them a gift in the mail to show them they're in your thoughts.

*Cook a festive meal: Just because you have fewer people to feed this year doesn't mean you should gives it any less effort.

*Try Beach Cocktails: You can try any of the beach cocktails with Friends and Family, and besides there are many festive flavors that taste incredible in cocktails ( https://eaglesvoyageng.blogspost.com/2020/12/best-alcoholic-free-beach-cocktail.html ). Find a recipe you're interested in or some batch of drinks on Christmas day to celebrate the season.

Practice food safety and proper hygiene: Encourage your family to wash their hands before and after they eat. Stay organized with a Covid Christmas to do list: Extra cleaning, hand washing regularly, social distancing. It is advisable to stay home and celebrate. But if at all you must travel to visit family for this year Christmas, assess the risks and benefits before booking your trip; the health conditions and age. While travelling, take precautions to limit the spread of Covid-19 while you're together and on your return. Be safe while you travel ( https://eaglesvoyageng.blogspot.com/2019/12/road-safety-tips-this-festive-season.html ), and Minimize your contact with others.

Importantly, make special memories

Everyone knows how things were this year, Don't stress yourself on what you cant afford. Your Christmas activities don't have to be elaborate. Rather than a treat, you and your family can make the Christmas holidays special memories by creating a little advent calendar with festive activities for each day, For instance: watching one or more best Christmas movies on Netflix and listen to edifying songs to give thanks for the season. Time spent together helps the family bond become stronger.

This exceptional Christmas holiday season will probably be more memorable because it's so different. We just have to find a way to make the most of it, by making it a special one because Christ is the reason for the Season.
