Covid-19: When is the End?

Covid-19: When is the End?

NO ONE KNOWS...
Just because the Federal Government announced the ease of lockdown/movements and lifts of interstate travel ban, doesn’t mean Covid-19 has ended. But a continuous effort must be made, as we carry out our own responsibility by practicing proper hand hygiene, physical and social distancing as travellers and none travellers, to prevent transmission of the virus.
So, if at all we must move out of our home or stay indoor, below info will be very useful for us:
Cough Etiquette:
Avoid coughing or sneezing directly onto others. Try to cough / sneeze into a paper tissue (carefully disposed of afterwards), or into the crook of your elbow if you do not have tissues available. Cough etiquette and social distancing are crucial to limiting transmission, while hand hygiene, and especially avoiding touching the face with unclean hands, is important to prevent indirect contact transmission.
Before cooking or eating food, after using the toilet (or changing nappies), after contact with bodily fluids (e.g., after wiping the nose), after contact with your pet (animals), when you arrive at work/school, wherever you are, whatever you do… don’t wait still your hands is dirty, hand washing with soap or alcohol-based hand disinfection are, in most cases, effective methods of hand hygiene.
Effective hand wash and disinfection, avoid touching your face with unclean hands. This will prevent indirect contact contamination from the hands to the eyes, mouth and respiratory tract.
How then can you dry your hands after washing?
You can dry your hands with clean disposable paper towels or warm air hand dryers. Hand towels can be used in homes but should be changed regularly.
But ensure you don't re-contaminate the hands with bacteria in the process of washing or drying the hands. If you have the option to dry your hands with disposable paper towels, air hand dryer or hand towels, it is important to choose one rather than leave your hands to air dry.
Hand Sanitizer/Alcohol-Based
Hand sanitizer can to kill microbes and germs. Alcohol-Based hand sanitizer is simple to use, affordable and often easy to find, which also kills microbes, as it has similar active ingredient (ethanol)  with Hand Sanitizer. You can add to hand before/after washing and drying of hands. But be careful how you use any of the two.
The Use of Face Masks
Medical/Surgical Masks: This type of face masks are produced for use in the healthcare services that meet current standards. Surgical masks are not to be shared or reused and may be labeled as isolation, dental, surgical or medical masks.
N95 Respirators Masks: An N95 respirator is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve  ,and they are also pronounced for use in the healthcare services that meet  the current standards. Such masks are not to be shared or reused.
Homemade Cloth Masks: The general public is encouraged to use a homemade face mask at this period, but most be laundered before and after use again. It is more affordable but not that safe. As said earlier, practice proper hygiene with it.
Now, which ever face mask you chose to use, it should fit securely but not uncomfortably against the face.
The Use of Disposable Gloves. Transmission of virus can also be prevented by wearing of hand gloves, but should be use and dispose right.
Physical and Social distancing. Maintaining physical and social distancing of at least 1–2 metres from others is very essential.

Update (21/07)
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued a Notice to NOTAM stating that its extending closure of international air space until October 15, 2020. For now only local flight and travel is allowed.

Note that the virus doesn't move unless we move. So, don't just use your face mask for fashion sake, practice hygiene and ensure you are safe by using it. Let us take responsibility.
